Futurologist and Copernicos
In a presentation by futurologist Richard van Hooijdonck, I heard several things that align with Copernican vision. Van Hooijdonck outlines a development currently underway: the world is in a process of connection in which parts react, interact, and influence each other.

Connecting is also important for Copernicos. We connect customers and stakeholders in fruitful collaborations, we connect people and assets, and (parts of) assets with other (parts of) assets in meaningful context. Van Hooijdonck didn’t mean anything special to us. Currently, we’re facing many changes and challenges, at an ever-increasing pace. To meet these challenges, we must adapt to ‘continuous learning’. Specifically, this means (a lot of) testing, (a lot of) trying, and experimenting. For this purpose, we have long been using the so-called ‘Kolb Learning Cycle,’ in which experimentation and, above all, reflection are key.

The Transition Expedition
We are on our way to an uncertain future. A future we can discover together and that we want to make more sustainable than today. A future we can shape individually, but also collectively. To do so, we need to make choices.
