My interest lies in the implementation of technology in society. A technically sound product can be perfect from the perspective of the engineer, but remain unused at the moment that its practical usefulness is not seen in society. Technology must therefore match the wishes and requirements of society. This requires empathy in the world of another and a design approach in which different parties are involved.
I find this philosophy at Copernicos Group, who see Asset Management from a multi-actor perspective and connect people to come to a fruitful solution together.
From my study I have received several tools to generate an outcome in issues concerning complex systems. In doing so, actors are often involved with conflicting interests, which increases the complexity. One of these tools is the development of System Dynamic models, which are also developed by Copernicos Group. As a result, there is a lot of common ground between my interests and the work of Copernicos.
