A sailor as change agent:

Referring to change for me important questions are: What is the current situation? What is the desired future situation? What steps to make to get there? Going along your way to achieve your goal but also taking into account the changing circumstances: not just talk and think about change but also do it, live it through!

A sailor sets out a course, takes into account all sorts of factors such as wind direction and wind strength, flow and obstacles. While sailing, navigating and maintaining the ship to ensure safe and timely arrival at the destination. This means hands-on and sometimes all hands on deck. A sailor can anticipate to change course in good time, to still arrive safely and in time. Sometimes a storm needs to be endured and sometimes one needs to deal with unexpected events creatively. A change is like a sailing the seven seas.
